Data Office is a department of 40+ talented people from different parts of the world who develop and manage ASML’s data & information management capabilities.

Within the Chief Data Office, Data Programs is responsible for translating the business requirements within ASML with regard to data & information management into a roadmap prioritized for maximum value for ASML and the distribution of the available capacity within the Chief Data Office and Data Excellence ART.

Role and Responsibilities

The Data Business Partner drives and supports Data & Information Management initiatives and supports ASML sectors, clusters and projects to improve their (master) data processes and data quality.
As a Data Business Partner, you, the CPO and the product owners are the face to the business. Together with product owners and their teams, you build data & information management capabilities that enable ASML to make its processes more efficient, the customer experience more excellent and more decision-making takes place based on this data ('data as a strategic asset').

  • Senior level stakeholder management. The Data Business Partner is responsible for providing and safeguarding a prioritized data roadmap based on value.

  • You are the first point of contact representing the Chief Data Office for a part of the ASML organization.

  • You work together with the business stakeholders to effectively embed data management capabilities in their processes and ensure adoption by the business to increase maturity.

  • You have a bridging function: you speak the language of the customer, knows its business, the processes and the translation into the data management capabilities that are or must become available;

  • You work together with the Data & Information management capability owners, the (Chief) Product Owners and other Data Business Partners within the CDO to determine the right alignment in way of working, backlogs and priorities for your segment and to ensure E2E consistency of our data;

  • You coordinate with, for example, architects, platform and data quality on high level, and translate the CDO strategy & vision into tactics.

  • You participate in meetings in the relevant segment where you represent the Chief Data Office

  • You collect business wishes from your stakeholders by asking them the right questions, and provide and guarantee a prioritized data roadmap for your sector of clusters based on value, Business Line & Sector priorities & roadmap in cooperation with the Chief Data Office Product owners

  • Support and guide ASML organization with advice on Data & Information Management improvements. You offer the ASML organization the necessary Data & Information management services, and are responsible for delivery in the cluster in alignment with data domains

Education and experience

  • You have a Master/WO degree in Business Administration / Economics / Supply Chain Management combined with a strong affinity with Data and IT.

  • You have 10+ years’ work experience, preferably in a Data and/or Information Management related role.

  • In-depth knowledge and expertise of enterprise data management framework, policies and standards. Knowledge & experience of ASML’s primary business processes where data is applied.

  • Good understanding of business and technology issues related to corporate data management;

  • Demonstrated experience in managing teams – e.g. as a subject or program manager;

  • Demonstrated experience with the SCRUM/agile working method; Experience with the role of product owner or scrum master in a combined product owner and analyst position. Scrum certification.

  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management; Strong communication skills on a tactical & strategic level;

  • You have experience in developing and managing roadmaps;

  • You understand the content, and you know how to take the stakeholders along on the basis of the broad outline in order to enforce decisions;
