The short delivery times and high demands from our customers are a guaranty for a dynamic project environment and execution. Part of the daily tasks will be your involvement in the project from concept to delivery, keeping in touch with our customers and E-house manufacturer locations. Site and factory visits will be part of your job and therefore travel will be required, for short periods, on a regular basis.

You will make a difference by:

• Generate detailed designs (Electrical or Mechanical).
• Investigate and advise on different subjects like: Mechanical or electrical interfacing, lay-outs, choice of components, fire safety, HVAC, electrical systems, cabling and containment, etc.
• Interfacing with your direct co-workers for low voltage, medium voltage and busbar systems.
• Review of basic designs, detailed designs and project related documentation.
• Proactively communicate with the customer and suppliers on project related aspects.
• Organize and attend factory acceptance tests (FAT).
• Prepare the technical documentation package.
• In-office support for the production and on-site delivery.
• Proper project closing and handover.
• Initiate and execute process, product and project improvements.

You will be part of the Siemens Global Centre of Competence for data center projects, based in The Hague. The complexity in our projects is determined by size, speed, location(s) and continuous pressure in realization. In other words, dynamic projects with great clients. The teamJosé is looking for an Power Electrical Engineer with at least 5 years of experience who fits his relatively young team, which is a nice mix of men, women, nationalities and cultures. A close-knit team, where cooperation, respect and humor are key. The E-House/Skids team consists of about 20 engineers with different technical backgrounds. The working language is alternately English and Dutch.

• A completed bachelor or master electrical engineering or electro mechanical education with at least 5 years of international project experience
