We are looking for an enthusiastic Development & Validation Engineer Aeroacoustics.

Tasks and responsibilities
- Analysing audio data to explain physical flow-acoustic mechanisms and validating simulation models.
- Programming automated and new analysis methods and handling large amounts of data.
- Advice during the development process on the design of acoustically effective components and secondary sound sources.
- Presenting the results to the individual specialist departments and staff committees and working closely with the simulation department.
- Supporting the specialist group in the preparation of manufacturer specifications on the acoustic properties of the wind turbine (warranty data).
- Communication with other internal specialist departments on topics relating to the acoustics of wind turbines.
- Preparation of documents and reports for WRD departments, customers and service providers.

What we ask of you
- Master's or Bachelor's degree specialising in acoustics, audiology, computer science or similar.
- Very good programming skills in Python.
- Skills in machine learning.
- Good knowledge of maths and statistics for appropriate application.
- Curiosity, creative and critical thinking.
- Proactive problem solving and effective communication.
