PROJECT MANAGER OFFSHORE

communicator and negotiator, numerical and accurate

Function Project Manager Offshore
You are responsible for managing complex projects. The scope of these projects ranges from € 100,000 to over € 5 million. You will be working within the business unit Lankhorst Mouldings - Offshore. The business unit has a dedicated team and an international setting. The working language is English, even internally. In this role you will report to the business unit director.

You will manage all relevant internal parties (Production, Engineering, Purchasing and Sales), such that the time and cost planning of projects is tightly managed. You will monitor quality requirements and exercise control over the content of the project. You are the first point of contact with the client and report to them with an agreed frequency about the progress and changes in the project. Where required you will negotiate firmly about change orders as a result of revised specifications or scope of work.

You coordinate multiple projects simultaneously without losing the overview. On top of that, you are also actively involved in the organization of qualification or FAT testing for and / or with the customer. Where required you will review project documents or contribute to the content of those deliverables with your knowledge and understanding of the subject. You will also contribute to optimizing our internal processes.

Your Profile

• Strong personality, enthusiastic and stress resistant.
• Strong communicator, very flexible, able to put pressure in a pleasant way using the appropriate subtleness.
• You are able to perform under pressure whilst maintaining a pleasant manner
• Driven initiator with hands-on mentality that loves to pursuit goals
• Accurate and good at working at detail level.

We Require

• A finished Higher Vocational Education (or HBO+ in the Netherlands) / University education in engineering or petrochemicals & offshore.
• Over 5 years experience in a similar position in a professional project organization.
• Experience in the offshore world and knowledge of the corresponding jargon is a plus.
• Mastery of the English language, both oral and written
• It is of great importance to be able to report accurately in English.
• Broad technical knowledge is obvious for this function.
